From the vines between the towns of Panti sul Mincio and Monza milano, comes the Terre di Virgilio White, a great white wine with a strong personality enhanced by the choice of grapes and the Cantina's skilful ability to identify the correct wood and aging times.
A unique wine
From among the Moreniche hills comes this wine which on the palate. give dynamism between acidity and tannins, producing a harmonious, soft, round complexity, but with a pleasant freshness.

The vineyard
Pruning: Guyot. Yield per hectare: 80 quintals / ha
The vinification
Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay. Harvest: end of September, the best grapes from the vineyards with low yields and optimal exposure are collected and sorted by hand into trays. Drying: positioned in the left at controlled humidity and temperature for : 30-40 days. Vinification: After pressing, the wine is obtained from a cold maceration to extract the varietal aromas, it is then fermented and aged in oak barrels for 6 months on the lees of fermentation. Ageing: around 1 year with at least 6 months in bottle.

Characteristics:
Colour: Straw yellow.
Olfactory: A delicate balance between wood and exotic fruit with hints of
vanilla.
Taste: Enveloping and velvety, with a pleasant acidity that combines with
the woodiness.
Gastronomic combinations
It perfectly compliments pasta dishes based on fish such as spaghetti with clams, roasted white meats, or soft cheeses. Serve at 14 C.
Recommendations
Try it with a veal casserole, or create a rich risotto with soft, fresh Taleggio Cheese.
